2019
Communication 19 describes a study by HEI’s Ghana Working Group evaluating the contribution of household air pollution to ambient fine particle air pollution in Ghana as well as its impact on health. The report synthesizes nine analyses and discusses the resources available for estimating the contributions of household air pollution to levels of outdoor air pollution in Ghana. The Summary for Policy Makers presents the main conclusions of Communication 19 and identifies strategic opportunities to address air pollution and source apportionment of air pollutants in Ghana and other low- and middle-income countries.
