Support HEI’s Summer Fellowship Program
Thank you for your interest in HEI’s Summer Fellowship Program!
About the Program
The program matches highly qualified undergraduate students who would not otherwise have an opportunity similar to this one with research mentors to pursue a tailored environmental health project. The program is run in collaboration with the International Society of Exposure Sciences and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology.
Why is HEI asking for donations?
HEI is committed to supporting as many summer fellows as we can each year. Funds are made available through our commitment to increasing opportunities for everyone to explore careers in the environmental health sciences. The Summer Fellowship Program is supported and funded independently of HEI’s core research.
We are seeking additional funding from organizations and individuals to expand the program and support as many fellows as possible. With your help, we can reach our goal of supporting a total of 10 or more fellows each year.
Where does my money go?
All donations will help support the fellows. Each fellow is paired with a volunteer mentor at an academic or nonprofit research organization in the United States. Fellows receive a stipend to support travel, housing, and other costs during their 10-week summer fellowship. The mentors participate pro bono, generously donating their time and resources.
We’d like to hear from you!
We invite individuals and organizations that would like to support one or more fellows, or who are interested in a named fellowship, to contact HEI.
