Scott Weichenthal is a professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Occupational Health and associate director of the Centre for Climate Change and Health at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has led numerous epidemiological investigations modeling population exposures to outdoor air pollution and evaluating how environmental exposures impact adverse health outcomes including cardiorespiratory illnesses and cancer. He is an associate editor of Environmental Health Perspectives and member of the executive council for the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (North American Chapter).
