Yasmin Romitti
Staff Scientist
Yasmin Romitti is a Staff Scientist at HEI with expertise in climate impacts, econometrics, and environmental epidemiology. Yasmin joined HEI in 2023 and contributes to activities across HEI's Air Pollution and Health and Energy Research programs. She earned a PhD in Earth and Environment from Boston University, where she studied the effects of adaptation to extreme heat exposures on energy demand and health outcomes. Prior to her PhD, Yasmin worked as a research associate with both the Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate and the Board on Earth Sciences and Resources at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She received her BA from Boston University in International Relations and an MA in Advanced International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna in Austria.
