New Summer Fellowship Program Open to Undergraduates
The Health Effects Institute is excited to launch a new paid summer fellowship program! The program, which provides a mentor for each fellow, encourages undergraduate students from backgrounds underrepresented in the environmental health sciences to pursue research in this area.
Students who are interested in environmental health and exploring environmental factors that may contribute to people getting sick are now invited to submit their applications! Please note, applications are due February 1, 2023.
We will be awarding 4 funded fellowships to support 10-week to 12-week programs. As part of the application process, applicants have 17 mentor opportunities from which to choose.
To be considered for this fellowship, students should be authorized to work in the United States and self-identify as coming from an underrepresented or disadvantaged background.
The fellowship is operated in partnership with the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) and International Society of Exposure Science (ISES).
