Ayusha Ariana

Ayusha Ariana joined HEI in 2022 as a Research Assistant working in HEI’s Energy and Air Pollution and Health programs. In this role, she contributes to research efforts to understand potential exposures and health impacts related to air pollution and unconventional oil and gas development. Ariana received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Architecture from Wellesley College, where she developed a strong drive to address challenges surrounding health equity and climate resilience. Ariana brings research and writing experience working at Wellesley’s DJB Environmental Geochemistry Lab and a reproductive health nonprofit on environmental health projects, and at MIT’s Department of Architecture and Center for Advanced Urbanism on climate mitigation and equitable urban planning initiatives.
