Abinaya Sekar

Abinaya Sekar, a Consulting Research Fellow in HEI based in Delhi, India contributes to HEI's Global Health Program. Prior to joining HEI, she worked with leading public policy think tanks in India. During this time, her primary focus was on developing a framework for revising the National Ambient Air Quality Standards in India and regulating air quality through an airshed approach. Abinaya holds a Ph.D. in Occupational Exposure to Air Pollution from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. Additionally, she possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Law, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Management, and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
