This page contains information on the Fall 2007 Research Agenda of the Health Effects Institute. We thank you for your interest in HEI and its research program. Request for Applications 07-1: Walter A. Rosenblith New Investigator Award
The purpose of this award is to bring new, creative investigators into active research on the health effects of air pollution. It provides three years of funding for a small project relevant to HEI’s research interests to a new investigator with outstanding promise at the Assistant Professor or equivalent level. HEI expects to provide one award from this RFA this year and to continue the RFA for this award on an annual basis. The evaluation process for these applications will consider the qualifications and background of the applicant, the quality and relevance of the research proposal, and the research environment of the applicant.
Letters of Intent for RFA 07-1 are due on February 5, 2008; applications are due on March 5, 2008. Request for Preliminary Applications: Health Effects of Air Pollution
Please note that owing to a high volume of competetively selected research getting under way this year, HEI is not issuing a Request for Preliminary Applications at this time. HEI will not be accepting any preliminary applications until the RFPA has been reissued (in late 2008 or early 2009). Please check this page for future deadlines.
Request for Short Applications: Pilot Studies for Junior Investigators on the Health Effects of Air Pollution
Please note that owing to a high volume of competetively selected research getting under way this year, HEI is not issuing a Request for Short Applications at this time. HEI will not be accepting any short applications until further notice.
